Empowering Women and Enriching Futures

GEN4SUD – Strategic Thematic Areas of Intervention

Gender for Sustainable Development (GEN4SUD) is a women-led grassroots organization based in Cameroon, committed to advancing gender equality, climate resilience, and inclusive community development. Active since 2019, we operate across all ten regions of Cameroon, with a strategic focus on conflict-affected and environmentally fragile areas.
GEN4SUD delivers integrated, evidence-driven, and community-centered programming across both humanitarian and development contexts. We provide life-saving interventions, build resilience, and strengthen systems in fragile, climate-affected, and conflict-impacted settings. Our work tackles structural inequalities while enhancing protection, environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, and inclusive governance — ensuring that immediate humanitarian response supports long-term recovery, stability, and sustainable development.
